Attentus is introducing a new psychological service where workplaces are given the opportunity to provide psychological services for their employees, with a short wait time for service. With this, Attentus wants to meet the growing demand for psychological services in the workplace, as many workplaces have begun to prioritize the mental health of employees in a more decisive manner. In addition to traditional therapeutic interviews, psychologists will also provide guidance to managers, mediation and communication problems in the workplace, as well as offering psychosocial risk assessments in the workplace as well as counseling and assessments in EKKO cases.
Ástríður Þórey has worked at Attentus since 2022. She has extensive knowledge of administrative law, corporate law, labor law and human resources. At Attentus, she has handled legal projects in the field of labor law, consulting in the field of recruitment and termination, difficult personnel matters, EKKO audits and human resources consulting. She is a lawyer by training, having completed a law degree from Reykjavík University and has a BA in French from the University of Iceland.
Helga Lára has worked at Attentus since 2017 and has handled human resources consulting, attitude surveys, management surveys, difficult personnel issues, EKKO consulting and psychological consulting. In addition, Helga has given numerous lectures on human resources and psychology-related issues. Helga is a clinical psychologist with an MS degree from Reykjavík University. Helga primarily works with problems such as burnout, perfectionism, anxiety, low self-esteem, social anxiety and communication problems. She also has an MS degree in social and occupational psychology from the University of Iceland as well as a BS degree in psychology.
