A lecture for managers and employees covering the management and communication of foreign employees, cultural differences, diversity and integration. The aim is to increase managers’ understanding of the culture and needs of employees of foreign origin who do not have Icelandic as their native language or do not speak Icelandic.
The following will be discussed:
- Cultural differences
- Multiculturalism
- Stereotypes
- Communication and feedback
- Management and information flow
The emphasis will be on discussion and open dialogue with participants. The group will have the opportunity to discuss issues that have arisen, as well as to consider various solutions to those issues.
A meeting with an Attentus advisor will be offered after the course for further support.
The training is tailored to the needs of each company.
There will be 15 – 30 minutes of discussion following the lecture.
