María Klara holds a law degree from Reykjavik University and has attained lawyer qualification (Attorney at Law). Following graduation from Reykjavik University, María Klara started working as HR Manager at Icelandair.

María Klara last worked as an Attorney at Law at Iceland Legal from 2018 until 2021, alongside she worked as a lawyer for the Retrial Court in Iceland. As an HR manager and lawyer Maria Klara has handled various projects in the field of labour law and HR in general.
