Drífa is one of the owners of Attentus. Her main tasks at the company are equal pay certification, equal pay verification, management consulting, human resources manager for hire, recruitment, termination, salary and wage issues.

Drífa completed an M.Sc. in Public Administration from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Iceland, and Executive Coaching from the Open University in Reykjavík and Coach University. Drífa has extensive experience in human resources, corporate strategy, mergers, operations and optimization, project management, implementation and operation of quality systems, equality issues, and wage and salary issues.

Drífa worked at Isavia as Human Resources Manager in Reykjavík 2016-2017. She was Human Resources Manager at Mannvit 2007-2015, served on the executive board there and participated in human resources policy development for Mannvit and its subsidiaries. Drífa is the chairman of the nomination committee of Eikar fasteignafélag, sits on the remuneration committee of OR and was on the board of the pension fund Birta from 2013-2018. She participated in the founding of Flóra, the association of human resources managers in Iceland, and served on the board for a total of 5 years.
