Tryggvi Þór Jóhannsson and Hildur Baldvinsdóttir have joined the Attentus advisory group and will thus support a new psychological service aimed at the business community.
Hildur is a clinical psychologist with an MS degree from Reykjavík University, in addition to a master’s degree in human resource management and occupational psychology from the same school. She has worked as a human resources consultant at Isavia and as a psychologist in the support and counseling team for employees at Landspítali, the Capital Region Health Service and at SÓL Psychological and Medical Services.
In her work, Hildur diagnoses and treats psychological problems in adults, using methods such as “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy” (CBBT) and “Acceptance and Commitment Therapy” (ACT). Hildur has attended courses and workshops in ACT and participated in a workshop on fact-finding in EKKO cases.
Tryggvi Þór is a lawyer with a BA and a MA from the University of Iceland. After graduating, he began working at VÍS. From there, he moved to the Directorate of Immigration, where he worked as a lawyer in the agency’s protection department.
Most recently, Tryggvi worked at the Welfare Quality and Inspection Authority as a team leader for operating licenses and was involved in the formation and development of a new institution. Tryggvi then completed a diploma in public administration in 2021.
“It is a great benefit for Attentus to have Hildur and Tryggvi join the team and thus support the company’s continued growth in the field of new psychological services and increased legal services related to human resources,” says Ingunn Björk Vilhjálmsdóttir, Chairwoman of Attentus.
