Inclusion and diversity with a focus on foreign staff

With the growing number of international employees, it is important to adapt and explore new approaches to issues related to inclusion, diversity, and understanding of international employee issues. At Attentus, we are opening up a conversation and encouraging managers to think about different cultures and their impact on the workplace.
We offer workshops and lectures that address the daily challenges of cultural differences, as well as general advice on working with employees of foreign origin, with a focus on Polish employees. The goal is to increase managers’ understanding of the culture and needs of employees of foreign origin, and at the same time increase foreign employees’ understanding of the Icelandic labor market and culture. The educational presentations cover cultural differences, multiculturalism, stereotypes, communication, feedback, management, and information flow.

We have worked with numerous companies in recent years and assisted them in human resources matters with the goal of bringing the human resources of foreign employees to the same level of service as other employees. We emphasize good service to employees and managers, conversations with employees, training of managers on multiculturalism and cultural differences, clear work processes and good information flow.
